Dickey Boats is now recruiting a boat interior detailer to prepare our award-winning boats to an exceptional condition for handover to our customers.

This is a part time role with varied work hours.  There will be a minimum of six boat handovers per year, with each interior detail taking approximately 1 - 2 days.  Additional cleaning, admin or workshop duties may be available for the right candidates.

Customer experience is one of Dickey Boats’ values, ensuring the best possible experience in owning a Dickey Boat.  The boat interior detailer will ensure the first impression is an unforgettable experience for our customers.

Full training will be provided.

The core duties of the role will include:

• Identifying any defects in the boat cleanliness and ensuring they are properly rectified

• Cleaning and protecting vinyl liner panels

• Vacuuming relevant interior areas

• General wiping, cleaning and polishing

• Glass cleaning

• Preparation of boat for handover (e.g. making beds, preparing accessories)

• Communication and reporting of any defects and issues

Being physically fit and working in a planned and organised manner within a small team are prerequisites for the role.  

Candidates will require an exceptional eye for detail, organisational skills and creative thinking aligned with the company brand and workplace values.

Ideal candidates:

Dickey Boats is looking for a hard-working, honest, respectful individual who brings positivity to the role.  

You may have experience in the cleaning or marine industry, or possess a passion to deliver an outstanding customer experience and learn the processes required.

A passion for boats and the marine environment will be beneficial.

Additional duties may be available in general workshop and office cleaning, general admin or workshop duties.
