Due to an internal promotion, boat building industry leader Dickey Boats is seeking someone to join our interiors team, constructing and installing custom-made PVC deck coverings.

About the Role:

The Flooring Specialist takes ownership of the construction and installation of PVC teak alternatives and other materials as required, across our range of custom vessels.

The role is fast-paced but rewarding as the product you are creating is a visual centre piece on every one of our boats. This is a part-time role – 32 hours a week, worked over 4 days.

Complete training is available; however, the following skills will be beneficial regardless of your level of experience:

• Great attitude and willingness to learn
• Self-Motivated and able to manage their time well
• Eye for detail – the role involves templating, finishing, and accurate stock management
• Some maths capability (dividing, templating)
• Ability to perform repetitive, physical work
• Confidence with both hand and power tools
• Self-motivated
• Experience in flooring, carpeting, tiling, labouring, or manufacturing is beneficial but     is not required
