Due to internal team movements, we are looking for an exceptional person to join our Commercial team.  The role will be varied, with the main focus on managing all the purchasing processes for the business and providing coordination and administration support to our Sales and Service team.

About the Role

In a small, highly motivated team, you will enjoy managing multiple tasks and outcomes in a fast-paced working environment.

The main components of this role are:

• Purchasing – You will be the primary contact for all purchasing at Dickey Boats. This includes ensuring all purchases are ordered and received in time for operations, liaising with suppliers, price management and being part of a new system implementation.
• Sales and Service team support - Providing administration and co-ordination support to our Sales and Service team. This includes database management, communications, travel bookings and job co-ordination.

Both functions require you to be highly organised and systems savvy in a team committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.

This role is based in our open plan office in Pandora, Napier.

About You

You will experience in purchasing and have demonstrated confidence in purchasing processes and managing high-volume projects.  

You will have outstanding coordination and administration skills, and be a strong communicator in all formats.

You will have experience with purchasing systems and BOMS and other software, ideally Microsoft Excel, Xero, Outlook, CRMs and enjoy using technology to improve the performance of the role.
