This is a salaried position based at our factory in Napier, New Zealand.  

As a sales technician, you will be reporting to the Sales and Service Manager. This role will be part of a small focused team that looks after the customer experience from initial contact through to ownership and beyond.  You will be involved in all parts of the business and the role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide timely and accurate information for our customers (including specifications, quoting and technical information)
Demonstrating and delivering vessels to customers when required.
Provide technical advice and support to our customers through build and beyond.
Assist in organising and executing servicing and maintenance of vessels.
Ensure our customer experience is paramount in all things you do.
Provide the ‘customers perspective’ to our Operations team on vessels in build.

About you, ideally you will have:

The ability to handle vessels of various sizes and types
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work with people from all backgrounds.
A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to quality service.
A willingness to travel and work flexible hours if required.
Some type of technical or practical background, preferably in the marine industry.
Driven and passionate about boats, the ocean and environment.
